As part of a visit to the Abernathy Science Education Center, students and teachers experience programming in a full-color digital immersion theater and planetarium...the Greenbush Digital Theater! This theater houses the MediaGlobe which is a scientific imaging device that will take students on a journey in sight and sound to the far reaches of the universe!
The single projector, full-color digital planetarium features cutting-edge presentation technology, stunning images and animated movies on a 24-foot dome-shaped screen.
The Greenbush Digital Theater will tell the dramatic stories of life on Earth, including the:
- structures and life cycles of plants or animals
- states of matter
- space exploration
